Jujutsu |

Throwing and grappling art of Juko Kai.
Please do not confuse this with sport Ju Jitsu that is popular
on TV. This is an extremely effective combat art and deals
with throws, locks, strikes, kicks, and pressure point
techniques. This art is for the person who is not afraid
of getting physical. This is the system that is taught to
law enforcement and the military. |

Juko Ryu Kempo |

A very aggressive hard fist art that trains
in punches, kicking, locks and leg sweeps. This is an art
for people who are not willing or able to do throws. This
is a very fast and effective striking art. |

Judo |

A very old tradional art based on throwing
and choking techniques. This art is for people who are
physically capable of being thrown and can take falling.
This is the only art that can be thought of as sport in our
class schedule. |

KoBu Jutsu |

This is the art of weapons. This art
works on application and use of traditional Okinawan weapons.
The yari (spear), Kaginata (curved blade), Kamas, Sais, Sword,
Bo, Jo, and Tanfa are just some of the weapons which will be
taught in this class. |

Tai Chi, Tai, Ki |
|
Internal energy and breathing systems of Juko
Kai. This class will deal with developing better internal
energy and better breathing and movement techniques. This
slow movement style is excellent for improved balance and can
help control stress and heart rate. |
